A meeting which intended to draw the Somali National Olympic committee work plans for 2012-2014 was concluded in Dubai with good decisions taken there according to the Somali NOC senior Vice president for international relations Duran Ahmed Farah.

Talking to reporters in
Mogadishu on Saturday Mr. Farah said that the Somali National Olympic committee organized meeting attracted officials from Somali sports ministry and outsider Somali experts who gave lucrative consultations on how to develop Somali sports and use it as a tool to create peace and public integrations in the war-weary country.

He said that the meeting had four strategy priorities including:

1- The enhancement of the development of administration and techniques of Somali NOC member federations and sporting associations.

2- To make full preparations for the participation of the 2012 London Olympic games

3- To start the Somali sports development from grassroots level and in particular to establish special and sophisticated sports programs at schools across the country.
