Our Objectives

To promote, advance, administer, co-ordinate and generally encourage all sport competitions in Somalia in accordance with the Somalia NOC Constitution and the Olympic charter and principles.

To consider and follow the Olympic movement in the country and enforce the charter and rules of the Somalia NOC and IOC and protect all competitions against any form of abuse and interference.

To initiate, negotiate, arrange, finance and control the participation of the Olympic games.

To settle disputes arising between members or bodies connected directly or  indirectly with the SOC within its jurisdiction.

Seek sources of financing and administer the funds of the SOC in such a manner as the SOC may deem advisable and in particular by means of subscriptions, donations and sponsorship or subsidies from the state budget, business firms and other NGOs.

Seek sources of financing to organize National Olympic activities (organization of National Games, administrative Courses, technical coaching courses, athletes training programmes).

Seek sources of financing to develop playing facilities, including the construction of stadium or the repair of those existing.

To pay the subscription fees of the Regional and Continental Olympic Associations in which Somalia NOC is affiliated. 

Somali NOC shall collaborate and cooperate with the National Governmental Sports Authority with mutual respect interface, to achieve national sports donations and sponsorship or subsidies from the state budget, business firms and other NGOs.
